Do you want to solve your sulfate and metal emissions?
Magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)2) is a non-classified and safe chemical used for raising pH and precipitating metals in various applications. When precipitating metals, it forms a drier and smaller amount of sludge compared to similar lime products, and its metal precipitation capability is excellent, particularly for heavy metals. Its neutralization efficiency is good, especially in acidic conditions. Even in case of overdosing, the maximum pH does not rise much above nine. The product for sale is a slurry, which is sold at a concentration of 53%.

FLUE GAS CLEANING
Power plants reduce sulfur emissions using flue gas scrubbers, where sulfur can be removed as sulfate by using magnesium hydroxide. The resulting magnesium sulfate solution can be recycled, conserving natural resources.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT
We offer magnesium hydroxide for pH control in industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants. Our water treatment product is an environmentally friendly, safe, and cost-effective option for pH adjustment. It is designed to help our customers enhance safety and improve process efficiency without exceeding emission regulations.
Magnesium hydroxide’s safe handling and storage provide a sustainable option. Our product buffers to a pH of around 9 in most wastewater streams, making harmful pH deviations less likely to damage biomass.
PULP BLEACHING, METAL INDUSTRY AND MINES
Magnesium hydroxide can also be used in pulp bleaching, either on its own or in combination with magnesium sulfate. It can also be utilized in the purification of metal industry fines and for the treatment of mining waters.
We supply magnesium hydroxide in bulk, IBC containers, or canisters.
